Sometimes, popular products that Young Living Essential Oils sells go out of stock. If you’re an Independent Distributor you may be on the Essential Rewards Program. Distributors can change their autoship orders monthly. If a product goes out of stock, a monthly order alert like the one shown here is generated.
The Monthly Order Alert reads as follows:
[su_quote]”Alert: Your monthly order includes out of stock or discontinued product(s). You must update your monthly order before other Essential Rewards features are available.”[/su_quote]
Why is it Called a Monthly Order Alert?
To us, this is the primary reason: Independent Distributors are required to purchase a minimum of 100 PV worth of product in order to be eligible to earn commissions and bonuses. If a product goes out of stock that lowers the PV total below 100, they won’t get a check for that period. That’s the way it goes.
Check Your Order Immediately Before Your Autoship Date
As of February 2017, no notice of a monthly order alert is sent by email or text. We found ours in the Essential Rewards part of our Virtual Office in order to look at our potential order.
In our case, the product that went out of stock had only recently come back in stock. So, the product sold out very quickly!
It is imperative that you check your order immediately before your autoship date so that you don’t run into problems.
How Often Do Products Go Out of Stock?
Young Living stated the following in their June 18, 2014, news release:
