How to Double Up on Young Living Promotions

Wholesale customers may be able to double up on Young Living promotions from time to time. We’ll show you how.

 

The Offer and Our Problem

In February 2014, Young Living had a special promotion to mark Valentine’s Day. From February 7-9, customers could buy one 15-ml bottle of Ylang Ylang and receive a 5-ml bottle of Geranium for free!

Our Essential Rewards “autoship” date was farther back in the month. Could we change it to get more free product sent to us?

 

Asking the Double Up Question

When we saw this promotion — and knew that we wanted to acquire Ylang Ylang Essential Oil anyway — Vicki contacted Live Help through our Virtual Office to ask and get an answer to this question:

“To clarify, if I have Ylang Ylang on our order this month, can its PV also apply to toward 190 PV for the monthly promotion?”

The answer to the question was “yes.”

 

How We Worked This in Our Favor

How we were able to double up on Young Living promotions.By arranging for our Essential Rewards order to be processed on one of the target dates

and

by ordering Ylang Ylang as part of our order,

we were able to make it count twice by

  • getting Geranium Essential Oil for free and
  • making Ylang Ylang’s PV count toward our total PV, so that we could get the February 2014 monthly promotional items for free.

In fact, some may say that we were able to “triple up” on that order because we also got Essential Rewards points on the Ylang Ylang, too!

Since 2014 was Young Living’s 20th year in business, we observed that on the 20th of each month that year, there was been a special promotion that was good only on that date. It was a discount on one of their products.

How can you be clever about your Young Living orders like this? Can part of your order be counting twice — or three times — in your favor? Double up or triple up whenever you can!
