A Thriving Business vs. Other Investments

Business vs. School Contrast. A thriving business vs. other investments.In response to an article we read about a 25-year-old financial analyst who had achieved some financial success, we feel compelled to ask: Is growing a thriving business better than other investments?

According to the article, this young man:

  • had saved $100,000;
  • had learned to automate his saving;
  • was saving 65% of his income; and
  • was using as his main investment vehicles “401(k), IRA, and index funds”.

All of that is truly commendable!

But what would happen if:

  • he lost his job (he is still employer-dependent); or
  • his 401(k), IRA and index funds tanked?

Taking the Thriving Business Route vs. the School and Job Route

When one builds a network marketing business — and leverages one’s time by helping others to leverage their time — one’s income can grow exponentially.

Consider the image above. It shows the income potential between two fictitious guys:

  • “Ben”, who chose to start his own network marketing business; and
  • “Bill”, who chose to go to school and then go to work for someone else.

Ben’s numbers are based on average annualized income realized by independent distributors for one network marketing company (Young Living, based on their 2016 Income Disclosure Statement), assume that a new rank is achieved every year, and do not show income from his primary job while he worked his network marketing business.

Bill’s numbers do not show his indebtedness from going to school, assume that he starts earning $48,000 per year, and receives a $4,000 per year increase, at his employer’s pleasure.

Once Ben has earned a certain level of income, he is able to leave his primary job and work his network marketing business full-time.

Bill is employer-dependent. Many factors affect his job, including the economy, technology and competition.

Here are a few things to consider about working a Young Living business:

  • There is a huge demand for wellness products that work;
  • The human body knows the difference between natural and synthetic products, natural ones being far superior; and
  • Young Living alone has a 5-step Seed to Seal quality commitment to producing essential oils that are only 100% pure and therapeutic grade.

So, based on the path of Ben vs. Bill, which path would you prefer to take — and why?

You may order now or become an independent distributor.
