Can Retirees Enjoy Retirement Fully?

An elderly couple, retirees and grandparents, who are in their retirement years. Can retirees enjoy retirement years fully without financial worries? After working for many years — perhaps decades — there is a general assumption that retirees should be able to enjoy their retirement years without financial worry. But can they? Can retirees enjoy retirement fully?

According to a May 23, 2017, article, retirees could be enjoying their retirement more than they are. Instead of a life of ease, “The average adult 60 years or older will trim their spending by about 2.5 percent every year, or by about 20 percent over a 10-year period”.

Furthermore, a website dedicated to financial matters quoted the Social Security Administration as saying, “Among elderly Social Security beneficiaries, 22% of married couples and about 47% of unmarried persons rely on Social Security for 90% or more of their income.” Relying on Social Security exclusively for retirement income almost always leads to a dramatic decrease in one’s standard of living.

Which financial situation do you want in your retirement years? It ought not to be that way! Instead of having a dwindling amount of money to live on, it would be so much better — even if one doesn’t have the money saved up — to be able to have money coming in.

Some folks have worked to save up their money in investments that didn’t pay out nearly what they were expecting. We’re not here to provide investment advice.

However, we do know of older folks — senior citizens, retirees, grandparents, elderly persons, and those just chronologically gifted — who have put their lifetimes of experiences to good use by starting a Young Living business.

Instead of having “nothing to live for” anymore, they have found a renewed sense of purpose by helping others find wellness, purpose and abundance with Young Living. In the process, they have built a business that — if worked well — continues to grow their income month after month!

So, let us ask you: Which financial situation do you want in your retirement years? Would you rather have plenty of money saved — or coming in — or having the money run out?

If you’re in your golden years and feel that you have plenty left to give — but you’ve been given the boot by your employer because of your age — let us assure you that this is a place where you are more than welcome!

You Can!Think you can’t do this? You can!

One Set of Retirees Enjoy Retirement Fully!

There is a couple within our organization who didn’t let age — or length of time to achieve their goals — hold them back from starting their Young Living business.

He was 82 and she was 78 when they started their business.

And 12 years later, they achieved the rank of Silver!

According to Young Living’s 2016 Worldwide Income Disclosure Statement, the “average” Silver earns $2,227 per month.

Woohoo! That amount sure is better than the payout from Social Security!

Instead of retirement, you might call what they enjoy as “refirement”!

We love working with motivated retirees who want to enjoy their retirement — not by sitting back doing nothing — but rather helping others and being paid well in the process.

Would you like to be among those of whom it is said retirees enjoy retirement fully?
